How to Fix WiFi Issues in MacOS Sierra

If your Wi-Fi connection is poor, so slow, not working correctly or whatever the issue is, take the following to get rid of the trouble.

  1. Turn Off the Wifi completely.
  2. From the MacOS Sierra desktop, create a folder on your Mac to take backup of existing WiFi preferences. Name it something like “wifi preference backup”.
  3. From the Finder window, call “Go To Folder” by pressing Command+Shift+G keys, then enter the following direction

4. Before delete the following particular files, you need to make a backup by copying all of them to the folder on the folder you have created on the desktop.

5. Turn On WiFi after reboot the Sierra OS to see if the Wi-Fi is working correctly now. If not, take the following steps to fix the issues completely.

14. Under Hardware tab, select Manually from Configure, Custom from MTU, and MTU number is 1453.


Click on OK, then Apply button to finish creating new WiFi network.
